Pitch
How high or low a sound sits.
Pitch changer: pitch moves, speed stays put.
Shift up or down by semitones without changing the speed — previewed and exported privately in your browser.
Drop a song to change its pitch
MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC and OGG up to 100 MB. Shift up or down by semitones — the tempo stays exactly where it was.
Why this pitch changer
Drop a track above and this pitch changer shifts it up or down in semitones while keeping the tempo exactly where it was. Change a song to fit your vocal range, drop a sample into your project, or move a track into a key you can actually sing. It runs in your browser — MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC and OGG, no sign-up, no watermark.
Three steps
No account, no watermark, no separate tool page to load. Your file never leaves your device.
What it does
Up to ±12 semitones, so you can tune a track to a specific key instead of guessing — with 0.5-step fine tuning on the slider.
The tempo stays put, which is the whole point of a dedicated pitch changer versus a speed changer.
The tool detects the original key and shows the new one as you move — for singers, G major to A major is the difference between a comfortable take and a wrecked one.
Toggle between the original and the shifted preview at the same playback position before you commit.
Your file is not stored, logged or used for training — decoding, shifting and export all run locally.
Don’t mix them up
These three get mixed up constantly, and mixing them up ruins finished audio. A speed changer alters pitch and tempo at once — that’s why speeding a track up also makes it sound like a chipmunk. A pitch changer decouples them, changing pitch while the speed stays put.
Key is where pitch is expressed musically: shifting a song by two semitones and saying you “changed the key” are the same thing described two different ways. If you only need the key name rather than new audio, that’s a key finder, not a changer.

How fast the music moves.
Speed changer: both move together — the classic chipmunk tape effect.
Where the pitch sits musically — G major, A minor.
Shifting two semitones and “changing the key” are the same operation.
Who it’s for
Drop the track to a key that matches your range, then sing with the original backing.
Nudge a track into a compatible key before mixing, so the transition stops fighting itself.
Fit an acapella or sample into the key of a project you’re already working in.
Lift or drop a voiceover to sit with existing footage, or shift a phrase to hear it more clearly.
Formats
We accept MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC and OGG up to 100 MB, and export the full track as WAV or MP3. Voice and solo instrument tracks shift cleanly; dense mixes and tracks with heavy reverb can smear slightly at large shifts, so keep an ear on the preview and stay within a few semitones if you’re chasing a natural result. The waveform shows the original and the shifted overlay so you can scrub to any section before exporting.
You get the file
Single-track shifts are free with no daily cap and no account. Free doesn’t mean “free preview, paid download” here — you get the full file, as WAV or MP3, with no watermark. Your audio is never uploaded: it’s shifted and encoded right in your browser.
FAQ
Semitones, speed, keys and privacy — the short answers.
Yes. Shifting and downloading are free and unlimited, with no sign-up and no watermark.
No. This tool changes pitch and keeps the tempo identical. If you want to slow down or speed up a track instead, use the BPM Changer.
Drop the file in, drag the semitone slider, then download. There’s no conversion step and no upload queue — the processed file is rendered and saved straight from this page.
Not yet. The pitch changer works on audio files on your device, because streams can’t be decoded in the browser. Use a local copy of a track you have the right to use.
±12 semitones — a full octave either way — which covers any key change a singer or DJ realistically needs. The slider also moves in 0.5-semitone steps for fine tuning.
The tool detects the original key and BPM after you add a file, then shows the new key and its Camelot code as you move the slider.
Yes — vocal tracks shift cleanly, which is why singers use it. If you want a cartoon-style voice effect, that’s a different tool (a voice changer), not this one.
Small shifts of one to three semitones are essentially transparent. Large shifts on dense mixes are audible — use the Original / Shifted toggle to check before you download.
No. Decoding, pitch shifting and export all happen locally in your browser, so the file never leaves your device — safe for unreleased beats and private demos.
Continue the workflow after shifting the pitch.
